Ski Portillo Launches 2014 Ski in Summer Season

Ski Portillo.On June 21 Ski Portillo will launch 2014 Ski in Summer Season. Ski Portillo offers only 7 day ski weeks with prices starting at $2,100 at the Hotel Portillo and $1,390 at the Octagon Lodge. Prices are per person based on double occupancy at Hotel Portillo and quad-occupancy at the Octagon Lodge and include seven night accommodations. Packages include four meals daily and eight day lift tickets, as well as, access to all of the amenities of the resort.

Ski Portillo is located about two hours from Santiago and accessible by non-stop flights from some North American cities. Located on the shore of the Lake of the Incas, Ski Portillo is surrounded by 19,000 foot Andean mountain peaks. The resort has a one-to-one guest-to-employee ratio. Ski Portillo accommodates a maximum of 450 guests per week.

From July to September, Ski Portillo guests can experience heli-skiing through Suma Air, with a capacity of four passengers, a guide and the pilot. Heli-skiing bookings are subject to availability, snow and weather conditions. The 2014 season will have special weeks including Family Weeks, Chilean Wine Week, Friends Week and Kids Free Ski Weeks.
