Sonesta Expands U.S Collection With Sonesta Suites in Scottsdale

Sonesta International Hotels Corporation has announced the addition of Sonesta Suites Scottsdale Gainey Ranch to its portfolio. The new hotel increases the Sonesta footprint in Arizona to three properties, joining the existing Sonesta ES Suites Tucson and Sonesta ES Suites Flagstaff, and the new hotel marks the company's first full-service property in the state.

Located in an exclusive neighborhood in Scottsdale, the new hotel has all-suite accommodations with full kitchens, a pool, a sundeck within a landscaped courtyard, and several on-site dining options. Next door, guests will find the upscale Shops at Gainey Village with boutiques, a farmers market and a collection of restaurants. Just around the corner, visitors can pamper themselves at The Gainey Village Spa & Health Club. The hotel is also conveniently situated nearby numerous corporate offices, including Nationwide Insurance, VOYA, and Wells Fargo.

Sonesta Suites Scottsdale Gainey Ranch has 162 studio, one- and two- bedroom suites. On-site dining options include The Hearth Room, serving a full breakfast buffet and evening reception with appetizers, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages; and The Terrace Bar, overlooking the courtyard and offering an al fresco setting with a selection of signature cocktails and a lunch menu in season. In-room dining is also available in the evenings. Additional amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, a fitness center with heated pool and hot tub, beautiful landscape and gardens including fire pits, complimentary shuttle service (transporting guests to destinations within five miles of the hotel) and 2,500 square feet of flexible meeting space, plus dining and outdoor entertaining space for corporate or private events.

The hotel is centrally set five miles north of Scottsdale Fashion Square and Old Town Scottsdale, and five miles south of the trendy Kierland Commons and Scottsdale Quarter. The new Odysea Aquarium, Butterfly Wonderland, Top Golf, I-Fly Indoor Skydiving, and the Talking Stick Casino are just a few miles east off the 101 freeway. For baseball fans, Salt River Fields at Talking Stick, the Spring Training home of the Arizona Diamond Backs and the Colorado Rockies, is four miles away, as is Camelback Mountain, offering views and hiking trails.
