New Belize Property Will Include Ikal Spa
The official opening of the El Secreto resort in Belize is set for October 1. A special four-night opening package starts at $1,670 and includes one Ikal Spa signature treatment, Hol Chan Marine Reserve excursion, plus full American breakfast and dinner.
Guests who book El Secreto’s Ikal Spa Villa can also get access to a private double massage cabin, steam room, indoor/outdoor Jacuzzi and freshwater pool. The Chatwal has added a new amenity. The new Red Door Spa at The Chatwal has three treatment rooms, three private changing suites with steam showers, and a manicure and pedicure studio. The treatment menu includes skincare, massage and body treatments, as well as nail care and the popular Elizabeth Arden wax services. We’re intrigued by the Red Door Signature Facial with PREVAGE and the Oxygen Infusion Facial, which provides oxygen and collagen to replenish and hydrate skin. Miraval Launches Journeys
Miraval—the resort and spa in Tucson, AZ—has launched Miraval Journeys, a series of curated, private adventure tours. Led by Miraval’s tour partner David Smith in conjunction with local experts, the journeys include classes facilitated by specialists accompanying the tours.
The first Miraval Journey will take place in Croatia and Bosnia from October 15 to October 24. In addition to exploring marketplaces and learning about the history of these cities, guests also get to try local culinary experiences, including fresh fish caught off the coast and vegetables grown by local farmers.
