Starwood Earns Best in Class Distinction From AAA

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. reports it has been recognized once again by the American Automobile Association (AAA) as best in class for product and service in the lodging category at the AAA/CAA Travel Executive Forum held in Las Vegas on March 28. The annual awards recognize valued partnerships in categories of cruise, tour and hotel.

Said Sehrab Grewal, managing director, partnership accounts for Starwood Hotels & Resorts: “Obtaining top honors in these categories differentiates Starwood as an industry leader and we are proud of our continued relationship with the organization as an AAA/CAA Preferred Partner.”

Starwood has consistently received top honors in all categories for more than eight years, Starwood said.

Each year AAA/CAA awards winners in five categories – Overall Partner of the Year and Best in Class for the Product, Service, Technology and Marketing and Sales.  AAA/CAA National surveys its Clubs with quarterly satisfaction surveys for input on all preferred travel partners in four categories; air, hotel, cruise and tour in the areas of marketing, sales support, product, service and technology.
“We are honored to recognize Starwood for their dedication to AAA members,” said William J. Sutherland, vice president, AAA Travel Services.  “Starwood is an outstanding partner in our efforts to provide AAA members with the best service and travel experiences possible.”
