In 2014, Grreater Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, will welcome Canada’s first Element hotel, the Element Vancouver Metrotown.

Element hotels, a brand of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., are known for operating as sustainable hotel properties. When the brand launched in 2008, it made history by becoming the first major hotel brand to mandate that all its properties pursue LEED certification.  Currently, there are nine Element hotels located across North America.

The 169-room Element Vancouver Metrotown will be located in Burnaby, B.C., in the center of metro Vancouver, close to Metropolis at Metrotown, British Columbia’s largest shopping center. This new-build construction will be the tallest tower in Burnaby and will offer 5,500 square feet of flexible meeting spaces.
