Tempo Miami, a RockResort, overlooking Florida's Biscayne Bay, has opened the RockResorts Spa, featuring four signature treatments designed to reflect the tone of musical instruments. Guests who book more than one treatment in one day will get a 15 percent discount. Overseeing the 8,000-square foot space, spa director Patrick Little will create the spa menu, membership, staffing and standard operating procedures for the spa and pool.
The treatments all begin with a warm foot cleanse. The Sonata, based on the musical movement of three or more parts, has three unique components that blend together, including a Swedish Massage, a Lime and Ginger Salt Scrub and a Fennel Body Mask.
Hot stone massages include Melody, defined by a progression of musical tones that creates one sound, followed by a Lift Facial and Blissful Milk Bath.
The Harmony Massage blends Asian and Middle Eastern techniques, involving a fully-clothed Thai massage before a Moroccan Rose Body polish that will your skin feeling smooth and hydrated.
Adagio, meaning slow and graceful, offers couples a soothing Swedish Massage and romantic rose pedal bath, complemented by champagne.
The spa has seven treatment rooms, including two couples' spa suites, one hydrotherapy room with a Vichy shower, massage and dry treatment rooms. A fitness center features Life Fitness equipment, and the pools include the recreation pool, lap pool with outdoor whirlpools. Other features offered are the full-service nail salon, the men's and women's locker rooms, each with ambient plunge pools, steam room and dry sauna and the retail area.
