Vail Resorts has announced an application that allows guests to take and share photos while having fun snowboarding and skiing: EpicMix. Upon guests’ request, the company’s photographers will take portrait and action photos and will automatically deliver the images to the guest’s EpicMix account.

Guests can acquire their images with their season pass or lift ticket. The images will be available in a low-res format, which guests can share on Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Snapfish and Shutterfly.

Guests can purchase high-resolution images online, with no limit on the number of print copies guests can make after the online purchase. In addition, guests will have the opportunity to make a collage of their photos.

Vail Resorts CEO Rob Katz said, “This season we’re re-imagining how guest photos are taken, stored and shared at our resorts and delivering a groundbreaking way for skiers and riders to capture their experience on the mountains.”
