Westin Promotes Health With New Menu

Westin Hotels & Resorts, Starwood's upscale brand, has partnered with SuperFoods Partners on new menus created to promote wellbeing through a healthy lifestyle. SuperFoods, known for its vitamin-fortified foods, will be the heart of Westin's signature dishes. The initiative will initially roll out at 25 hotels in North America and go global in 2008 with the introduction of the Westin Signature Breakfast, a SuperFoods selection. Westin Hotels always has encouraged healthy living-it was the fist major hotel brand to stamp out smoking, and announced it will eliminate all trans fats from its food and beverage operations in North America and the Caribbean by the end of this year.
