A partnership team led by Hudson Group received the OK from Las Vegas McCarran International Airport (LAS) and the Clark County Commission to develop a specialty shopping area in the airport's Concourse D rotunda.
The mall will house six shops: Hugo Boss, Juicy Couture and Guess, Kiehl's skin and hair care products, a Tech on the Go electronics store and one other. The new shops will be open within a year.
On November 1, the County Commission unanimously voted to exstend Hudson's lease to 2030, in return for the commitment to spend $15.5 million on concessions throughout the airport. The lease includes 22 newsstands and specialty retail shops. Hudson began operations in the airport in 2003.
Hudson's airport-wide sales are running ahead of last year's sales at LAS.
