Round Hill Hotel and Villas in Montego Bay, Jamaica announced Tuesday the appointment of Linda Lawrence as director of sales and marketing.
“We are thrilled to welcome Ms. Lawrence to Round Hill,” said Round Hill Hotel and Villas Managing Director Josef Forstmayr in a written release. “Her longtime dedication to promotion of Jamaica as a destination, combined with her true expertise in luxury travel sales and marketing make her the ideal fit for the resort.”
Lawrence’s focus in her new position will be travel industry relations, consortia relationships and strategic partnerships, along with an emphasis on building the meetings and incentive market along with destination weddings. She will oversee a team of on-property and consulting representatives on the resorts brand positioning, marketing, sales and public relations.
Prior to her appointment at Round Hill Hotel and Villas, Lawrence spent more than a decade in a senior-level sales capacity at Half Moon in Montego Bay, focusing on travel industry sales. Lawrence is a graduate of Florida International University and holds a degree in tourism and hospitality management from Revans University.
