Good to know: The program will not be implemented for the hotel’s Beach Casitas.
W Invests in North American Renovations
W Hotels Worldwide is rolling out a wave of renovations in its North American portfolio. The development will concentrate on improving the hotels with a $100 million investment by the brand and its ownership groups, to update everything from public spaces to guest rooms, alongside creating new signature bar and restaurant concepts.
One property to receive this treatment will be The W’s Mexico City location. Recently unveiled was their renovated bar, The Living Room, which was updated with a playfully sophisticated “Masquerade” design narrative imagined by nemaworkshop. Later this year, guests can expect a new destination restaurant and completely renovated guestrooms.
Mexico makes one of LTA's top choices for a girlfriend getaway.
Cancun’s Nizuc resort and spa is home to the first ESPA branded spa on the Riviera Maya. Encompassing 30,000-square-feet, the spa will feature nine treatment rooms, a spa cafe, and a European-style luxury heat experience including steam room, experience showers, sauna, ice fountain and a vitality pool. And if that’s not enough indulgence, The Niztuc combines spa-ing and chocolate with their Mayan Cacao treatment to top off your luxury vacation.
Other pick destinations include the Remède Spa in Aspen, Colorado, New York’s Peninsula Spa and The spa at Mandarin Oriental, Paris.
