LGBT Confex Announces Merida, Mexico as 2015 Host City

LGBT Confex has announced that in 2015 Merida, Mexico, will be its host city.

Since 2011, LGBT Confex has more than doubled its growth in cities like Puerto Vallarta, Cancun, Guadalajara and most recently Vallarta-Nayarit, Mexico.  According to the CEO of LGBT Confex, Ruben Sandoval, Merida is a city that has “embraced the LGBT community”.

The annual LGBT Business Expo is a B2B and consumer event whose purpose is to amplify business and educational opportunities by connecting the LGBT community with companies and organizations that impact their daily lives.

Next year in Merida the focus from global LGBT leaders will include workshops and presentations in the fields of Tourism, Corporate, Film, Academic, Entrepreneurs, Technology and Media as well as include a new platform entitled “International Congress on Sexual Diversity Studies”. LGBT Confex will also be working with the tourism and convention bureau in the city of Yucatan to highlight the diversity of events the city has to offer particularly for the LGBT consumer.

The expo will take place on September 18-19, 2015.
