Summer in San Francisco features LGBT events throughout the city. There are activities occurring during July, August and September including some of the following.

Trannyshack! Is a David Bowie tribute taking place on July 18. Performers include Raja plus Fauxnique, Lady Bear, Raya Light, U-Phoria, Sugah Betes and more.
AIDSWalk San Francisco is on July 20. In its history AIDSWalk has raised nearly $82 million. Individuals and teams of all skill levels are invited to register.
Movie Night in Dolores Park on August 2 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. will show “Clueless” with Alicia Silverstone, Stacey Dash, Paul Rudd and Brittany Murphy, set in Beverly Hills and chock full of gay humor.
Suit Up for Equality is a fashion event with clothes from designers from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. “Top Chef’s” Janine Falvo will provide food while Tito’s Handcrafted Vodka serves cocktails and DJ CarolC provides the music.
On September 5, “Norma,” will have its opening night performance at the San Francisco Opera. At the War Memorial Opera House, Vincenzo Bellini’s “Norma” will be conducted by Music Director Nicola Luisotti with soprano Sondra Advanovsky. Before and after the performance, several parties from the formal Opera Ball will be hosted across the street in City Hall’s Rotunda to the Bravo!
Folsom Street Fair will take place on September 21. The fair promises nearly half a million attendees, 13 city blocks of adult entertainment and activities, over 200 exhibitor booths of lifestyle products, two dance areas and a stage with entertainment. It is the largest LGBT street fair in the world.
