Luxury Travel Exchange International (LTX) is back, September 10-12 at The Venetian Las Vegas and Sands Expo Convention Center, featuring new benefits for attendees, including supplier education sessions, tracked seminars, sales and marketing training, world-class entertainment and exclusive educational opportunities from Cruise Lines International Association for any advisor looking to build cruise sales market share.

The event, which is unlike any other in the industry, features the most qualified travel advisors, accredited educational programming, high-caliber networking opportunities and effective one-to-one appointments between advisors and hundreds of luxury suppliers.

Frontline advisors, owners, managers and independent contractors can craft their own curriculum according to personal interests or professional level. Key tracks include sales and marketing, professional development and the overall service experience. Topics will include upselling and maximizing sales opportunities, customer service best practices and managing your brand.

Delegates will hear from a robust lineup of industry speakers and experts including Juliet Funt, daughter of Candid Camera’s Allen Funt, who will deliver the event’s motivational keynote address on how to become more engaged and creative despite over-busy, over-committed, multitasking lives; Anne Morgan Scully, president of  McCabe World Travel; Scott Koepf, vice president of sales for Avoya Travel; Jack Mannix, founder and principal of Jack E. Mannix & Associates; and Lane Douglas, principal of social media solutions at MarketBridge

More action will take place on the Exchange floor, where business is conducted and advisors have substantial learning and earning opportunities available. The advisor audience, ranging from owners and managers to front-line affiliated and unaffiliated advisors, represents a diverse book of business, allowing all participants to meet solely with prospective partners who share common business interests.

Too much to keep up with? The LTX Mobile app will put the entire show close at hand and keep participants up to date on the latest news, exhibitors, educational programming, speakers and special events while allowing for social media access and posts.

As past attendees know, there’s always time for some fun, Vegas-style. LTX delegates will have access to amazing entertainment options including the Tony-nominated musical Rock of Ages, thanks to Base Entertainment, which is supplying tickets. The rock concert-style show is built around classic rock hits from the 1980s, namely the famous “big hair” glam metal bands of the decade including Styx, Journey, Bon Jovi, Twisted Sister and Poison, among others.
