Luxury Travel Expo, produced by Luxury Travel Advisor and Travel Agent, has announced the 2011 “Leaders in Luxury” award winners. The awards, held during the expo’s Tuesday General Session, will be presented to individuals who demonstrate superior leadership in four categories – Hotel, Cruise, Tour and Travel Professional. The ceremony will be held on December 6 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino. Luxury Travel Expo will be held from December 6-8, 2011 in Las Vegas.
The award recipients are carefully selected by the editors of Luxury Travel Advisor and Travel Agent. The winners are: Greg Tepper, president, Exeter International (Tour); Richard Sasso, president and chief executive officer, MSC Cruises (USA), Inc. (Cruise); Nicholas Clayton, president, Viceroy Hotel Group (Hotel); and Gary D. Davis, president, All About Travel, Inc. (Travel Professional).
"The Leaders in Luxury Awards are presented to recipients who truly embody excellence in luxury travel service,” said Ruthanne Terrero, vice president and editorial director for Questex Hospitality + Travel Group. “Each of this year's recipient are leaders in their respective travel sectors and once again give credence to how hard work and dedication in this industry pave the way for future success.”
