As part of our ongoing coverage of the 2013 Luxury Travel Exchange International (LTX), Travel Agent got the scoop on Island Destination's new properties that will be unveiled on October 17 in New York City.
Although Laurie Palumbo, chief operating officer of Island Destinations, couldn't share all of the roughly 10 new properties with us, she did confirm that Seven Stars Resort in Turks and Caicos will among the new members.
Also, Palumbo says there will be several new destinations to include ID Ultimate Itineraries-Asia as well. There will also be Asia properties that will be among the new members. Island Destinations, in fact, just unveiled the ID Ultimate Itineraries-Asia in March.
"Island Destinations has always been warm weather, beach destinations and we do it well and will continue to do it well," she says, "but now with Asia, we felt it's time to branch out more."
