Travel Impressions Expands Ambassadors Program

beach footprintTravel Impressions (TI) reports it  will officially kick-off its second annual TI Ambassadors Program on Oct. 15, 2013. While the inaugural season featured eight supplier partners, the upcoming program will be expanded to include 10 of Travel Impressions’ resort and destination partners. The move will provide travel agents with additional opportunities to become recognized brand advocates, TI says.

The Ambassador application period will open on Aug. 12, 2013. Agencies interested in TI Ambassadorship must submit their applications no later than Aug. 26, 2013.

One noteworthy change to the 2013-2014 program from last year is that TI Ambassadors will be selected on the agency level rather than an individual agent level. Individual agents are encouraged to collaborate with owners/managers and apply as an agency, TI said.

Participating suppliers include All-Inclusive Hard Rock Hotels, AMResorts, Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts, Cancun, El Dorado Spa Resorts & Hotels and Azul Hotels, by Karisma, Excellence Group Luxury Hotels & Resorts, IBEROSTAR Hotels & Resorts, Melia Hotels International, Palace Resorts/Le Blanc Spa Resort and RIU Hotels & Resorts.

"The TI Ambassador Program targets savvy travel agencies who actively use social media to further their sales and marketing goals," said John Hanratty, chief operating officer for Travel Impressions.

"The program taps into the enthusiasm, knowledge and expertise travel agencies bring to the table by partnering them with the properties and destinations for which they are most passionate. The resulting synergistic exposure is particularly impacting as it draws on the agency's position as a trusted travel counselor," noted Hanratty.

Interested agents and their agencies should stay tuned for additional updates from Travel Impressions and note the impending start of the application period on Aug. 12, TI says.
