OASIS Launches Webinars on Using Social Media

A new monthly webinar training series designed to help travel professionals boost their social media education has been launched by OASIS, the Outside Agents Sales Integration System. The webinars will cover everything from Facebook to Pinterest, Google+, Instagram and topics such as how to exploit the free tools offered by Google.

“We welcome all agents to the series, not just OASIS agents,” says Kelly Bergin, OASIS vice president of business development. Details about the webinars are available on the website, where agents who cannot attend a live webinar can also access a pre-recorded version.

Social media experts Margie Jordan, president and CEO, Jordan Executive Travel Service, and Catherine Heeg, international speaker and trainer and president of Customized Management Solutions, will show participants simple, effective ways to integrate social media into their marketing program. Both instructors are successful travel and tourism industry veterans.

Jordan and Heeg will also teach participants how to use the Signature Travel Network’s Intranet — SigNet — which can help agents with social media content.

Other professional education programs from OASIS include its Future Agent Sales Training (FAST) program.
