Royal Caribbean Bolsters Agent Support Action Program

Royal Caribbean Cruises' three brands—Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Cruises—are making sure that travel agent partners are receiving proper care. On Wednesday, it announced ASAP Plus, the next phase of the Agent Support Action Program, or ASAP. Launched in December 2008, the program is specifically designed to aid agents during these tough economic times.

Under ASAP Plus, travel agent partners of the three cruise brands can qualify to maintain their 2009 commission level in 2010, even if they have not achieved the required revenue levels.

To qualify for the ASAP Plus commission benefit, travel agents only need to make one new 2009 booking on Royal Caribbean International and one new 2009 booking on Celebrity Cruises or Azamara Cruises. The travel agent's 2009 commission level will be automatically secured for 2010 after the completion of the 2009 sailings.
