Royal Caribbean's New Fuel Supplement Spills Into Double Digits

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. has increased the fuel supplement on all its three brands, with the revised supplements applying to bookings made on or after June 30. This according to a filing made with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday.

First and second passengers in a stateroom on Royal Caribbean or Celebrity Cruises will be charged $10 per person, per day, but no more than $140 per person, per cruise. Additional stateroom guests will be charged $5 per person, per day and no more than $70 per person, per cruise.

Aboard Royal Caribbean's deluxe brand, Azamara Cruises, first and second passengers in a stateroom will be charged $15 per person, per day. Additional stateroom guests will not be charged.
