Papillon Airways, Inc. and Forever Houseboats have partnered to create the “Fly and Float Experience” in southern Nevada, just 45 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip.

By pairing luxury lake accommodations with a helicopter tour, customers can explore the American Southwest in an unforgettable getaway for three days and two nights. For the first two days, guests can relax aboard one of Forever’s signature Millennium Houseboats. On the final day, guests soar in one of Papillon’s EC-130 B4 EcoStar helicopters to a famous Southwest monument.

“This is an experience, ideal for a group of visitors who want to experience the Southwest in a brand new way,” said Robert Graff, vice president of marketing for Papillon. “It’s so simple to book but with the capabilities of creating lifelong memories. Weddings, incentive planners, family reunions—name the group; this experience is perfect for them.”

Houseboats feature private staterooms, a full kitchen, flat-screen television, climate control, a rooftop sun deck, a water slide and, on the Millennium models, a grand-sized hot tub on the top deck. Guests who call the marina 72 hours in advance can arrange for the kitchen to come pre-stocked with a customized assortment of groceries and beverages. Aboard the EcoStar helicopter guests will experience an oversized cabin with theater-style seating and 180 degree unobstructed views.

Each package includes roundtrip ground transportation from all major Las Vegas resorts to tours originating at Lake Mead’s Callville Bay Resort & Marina. Transportation to Antelope Point Marina is provided from all Page, Ariz. hotels. Packages also include boat and helicopter accommodations for up to seven people, complimentary tie-down and untying services for houseboats moored in beach coves and a private helicopter pilot and tour guide.

There are three experiences to choose from:

Grand Canyon West Experience
Guests will relax on their houseboat at Callville Bay Resort & Marina on Lake Mead in southern Nevada near 550 miles of pristine shoreline, soaring red rock cliffs and picturesque beaches. On the third day they will experience Papillon’s Grand Celebration tour, seeing the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, Grand Wash Cliffs, extinct volcanoes and a 4000-foot descent into the depths of the Grand Canyon. After touching down on the banks of the Colorado River, guests will explore Native American Hualapai lands and enjoy a champagne picnic served under a Hualapai Indian shelter. Rates begin at $4975.

Eldorado Canyon Experience
After two days relaxing on a houseboat on Lake Mead, guests will take a helicopter trip to Eldorado Canyon, Southern Nevada’s oldest, richest and most famous gold mine. After the tour guests may explore the desert via jeep, quads or on horseback. Rates start at $4575.

Antelope Valley Experience
For the first two days guests relax on a houseboat launched from Lake Powell’s Antelope Point Marina in Page, Ariz, where they can enjoy boating, skiing, kayaking, fishing and hiking. On the final day, guests will travel by Cessna 208 on a private tour of Lake Powell and Monument Valley. The Cessna can seat nine, and rates begin at $5395.
