Call for Submissions Open: The All-New Travel Agent Magazine’s Top 25 All Stars

Several travel agency owners have come to me seeking ways to recognize their advisors who have been in the business for some time, who are doing great things, but do not have a program that recognizes them as our 30Under30 program recognizes rising stars in the business.

As a result, we are launching a new program called "Travel Agent Magazine's Top 25 All Stars." The nominees for this list have to have been in the business for at least 10 years and have an annual sales volume of $1 million.

Travel agency managers will be nominating their advisors (one per agency, please). The link to the form explains the amount of detail that is required to nominate the advisor. It’s a fair amount, but this is a serious competition to celebrate the top All Stars in our business! Plus, winners will be featured in an upcoming issue of Travel Agent. They’ll also receive logo materials to use in their promotional efforts.

Winners will be selected by Travel Agent magazine’s editorial board. The following criteria will be used to determine the Top 25:

  • Annual sales volume
  • Supplier recognition
  • Industry recognition and travel certifications
  • Humanitarian efforts, fund raising and charitable works.

Note: Those travel agents who work independently may nominate themselves, however, they must have the endorsement of a consortia or network executive who can verify their annual sales volume. Here is the link to the self-nomination form

Let’s get to it! Please nominate your top player to put them in the running for Travel Agent’s Top 25 All Stars.

The deadline for submissions: October 31, 2014.
