Carnival: America's Vacation Center is Agency of the Year

Meanwhile, San Diego based America's Vacation Center/American Express (AVC), was named 2007 agency of the year by Carnival Cruise Lines and possibly set an enviable record for winning three travel agency of the year awards for 2007.

Two other 'Travel Agency of the Year' awards from Royal Caribbean International and Norwegian Cruise Line matched the award from Carnival. Insiders believe this is an accomplishment no other travel agency has received in the history of the travel industry. The company has also been recognized with the Representative Excellence Award from American Express

Carnival Cruise Lines said it chose AVC as 'Agency of the Year' award winner for 2007 because of the company's consistent, enthusiastic support for the cruise industry in general, and Carnival in particular; its outstanding creativity and marketing acumen; and its unparalleled sales ability.
