Cozumel Hotel Association Presents Gala 2007

To honor Cozumel's key travel partners, the Cozumel Hotel Association will host Gala Cozumel 2007, October 12-14 to recognize the island's top tour operators, wholesalers and airlines in the U.S., Canada and Mexico for their support.

The two-day Gala celebration, which was established to thank the international tourism community for their support and efforts in helping make Cozumel a leading tourist destination, will include an awards ceremony, various island activities and hotel tours. Over the years, the celebration has also provided the association with the opportunity to showcase Cozumel's continued growth, highlighting the island's wide range of hotels, services and amenities along with its natural attractions and variety of activities. The Museum of the Island of Cozumel will host a presentation and cocktail reception on October 12 and an awards dinner, sponsored by American Express and the Cozumel Hotel Association, will be held on the evening of October 13 at the Presidente Intercontinental Cozumel Resort and Spa. Guests can also take part in a golf tournament hosted by the Cozumel Country Club. Visit
