MAST, the Oak Brook Terrace, IL, based agency network, presented over 90 awards to more than 50 member agencies and suppliers during its recent Awards Night, according to John Werner, president and COO of the group. More than 270 agent members and suppliers attended the event.

MAST's highest sales honor, the All Star Award, was presented to 25 agencies for their 2007 preferred supplier sales. Top agency was Cary Travel Express, Cary, IL, owned by Neelie Kruse. Nine agents were honored with the Million Dollar Agent Sales Award for their achievements in individual sales of MASTs preferred suppliers. An additional 14 agents received the Outstanding Agent Sales Award for their leisure travel sales on MAST's preferred suppliers.

A new awards category, the Business Development Awards, had two winners: Ambassador Travel in Oshkosh, WI and Wilson Travel & Cruise in St. Charles, IL. The Best Group Promotion Award went to Travel Discoveries in Watseka, IL.

MAST Travel Network also recognized the exceptional service provided by its preferred suppliers. Recipients honored were Globus Family of Brands for Best Reservations Department and Best Brochures and Sales Collateral, Royal Caribbean International for Best Sales Managers and Best Group Department, Apple Vacations for Best Inside Sales Support and Best Internet Site for Agents, AIG Travel Guard for Best Customer Service, Princess Cruises for Best Product and Sales Training, and Holland America Line for Best Exhibitor at MAST Sales Sensation event.

Werner presented the Director's Award to George Staples of Hobson Travel in Naperville, IL, for his commitment to the ongoing success of MAST. Staples served as a former Chairman of MAST's Board of Directors.
