Each year, one of the leading North American host agencies, Nexion, takes the time to recognize both agents and suppliers who have excelled at providing outstanding service and obtaining record sales. At the recent regional conferences this September and November, Nexion General Manager Jackie Friedman recognized 29 travel professionals and nine suppliers for outstanding contributions.
“At Nexion, we know that when we can help an agent become successful; it helps their business, our business and the travel industry at large,” said Friedman. “And when we have such outstanding relationships with our suppliers, we’d be remiss if we didn’t take time to recognize and reward their contributions to our agents’ success as well.”
At Nexion, the Circle of Excellence winners each year are recognized for selling at least $750,000 in combined air, cruise and tour business with at least $250,000 of that in leisure sales. This year, 15 of Nexion’s agents reached that goal. They are: Kimberly Caudill, Paige Evans, Rebecca Jones, Stephen Lincoln, Carolyn McDaniel, Clay Nottrodt, Timothy Richmond, Yana Shleyner, Gretchen Smith, Jayne Smith, Jill Smith, Christy Spensberger, Janice Standal, Holly Tucker and Travis Wilson.
Additionally, Nexion agents who sell at least $1 million in air travel reach the exclusive MillionAir group. The 2008 professionals in this category were: Lisa Burton, Sandra Chertoff, William Conner, Diane Earman, Karen Ellis, Tess Eugenio, Rita Hiltner, Alexander Irmler, Valerie Mouze, Cindy Orlinick, Jeanine Rains, Judy Rawls, Catherine Romanov and Irene Schwartz.
In addition to receiving recognition within Nexion, and crystal awards, these award-winning agents are invited to attend an executive, all-expenses-paid retreat, courtesy of Travel Impressions, to Iberostar Rose Hall Suites in Jamaica, this December.
Recognizing that their success and the success of the travel industry is built upon great partner relationships, Nexion’s 2,000-plus member agents voted on the host agency’s preferred suppliers to select the Members’ Choice winners.
