Holland America Adds Guests to Oprah Caribbean Cruise

O, The Oprah Magazine Adventure of Your Life Cruise aboard Holland America Line’s Koningsdam sets sail on an 11-day Caribbean Islands tour on November 29, 2017. Voyagers on this trip will be joined by members of SuperSoul 100—a collection of influential thought leaders using their voices and talents to educate and enrich humanity.

Among the members aboard the ship are clinical psychologist, best-selling author and international speaker Dr. Shefali Tsabary and author, speaker, and life coach Tim Storey. O, The Oprah Magazine books editor Leigh Haber will also be on board to lead O’s Reading Room, a book club that will be discussing a book to be named in advance of the sailing.

Dr. Tsabary is a clinical psychologist with a Ph.D from Columbia University. She has a private practice in New York City, and she is the author of three books: The Conscious Patient, Out of Control and her latest, The Awakened Family: A Revolution in Parenting. Her mission is to shift and revolutionize the parenting paradigm and improve the way people raise children.

Tim Storey, known as “Life Coach to the Stars,” has delivered motivational speeches and shared his insights in more than 70 countries. His most recent book, Comeback & Beyond, has been highly praised. Storey engages audiences in spiritually motivated gatherings in Hollywood, California monthly and teaches weekly at his church.

Leigh Haber has been the books editor for O, The Oprah Magazine for the past five years and also serves as coordinator of Oprah’s Book Club. She began her career in book publishing as news aide for the Washington Post’s Book World, and has held senior editorial positions at several publications. She has also worked with numerous authors including Alice Walker, Steve Martin, Terry Gross, Al Gore and Lou Reed.

This November departure is the first of four Adventure of Your life cruises planned in the partnership of Holland America Line and O, The Oprah Magazine. The three other sailings will also headline to-be-announced SuperSoul 100 Members. The itineraries include:

Seven-day Tropical Caribbean cruise aboard the Nieuw Amsterdam, departing March 3, 2018.
Seven –day Alaskan Explorer cruise aboard the Eurodam, departing August 11, 2018.
Seven-day Eastern Caribbean cruise aboard Nieuw Amsterdam, departing October 28, 2018.

In addition to the four Adventure of Your Life Cruises with SuperSoul 100 members and special guests from the magazine, more than 300 Holland America Line cruises sailing from North America from August 2017 through 2018 will offer a variety of activities developed with the magazine’s editors and designed to nourish body and soul.
