The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay has recently appointed long-time Ritz-Carlton veteran Bernd Kuhlen as its new General Manager.
Kuhlen comes to the property from The Ritz-Carlton Golf & Spa Resort, Rose Hall, Jamaica, where he has held the roles of hotel manager followed by general manager. His previous roles included director of food and beverage for The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans. He has also held executive roles at The Ritz-Carlton, Wolfsburg; The Ritz-Carlton, Palm Beach; The Ritz-Carlton Resort and Spa, San Juan; The Hotel Arts, Barcelona (a Ritz-Carlton hotel) and The Ritz-Carlton, Cancun.
