Yesterday evening, travel agents and Ritz-Carlton executives convened in Marina del Rey for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company Travel Industry Showcase and Awards Ceremony. The Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey hosted the event, which began poolside with cocktails and a trade show. It was a good opportunity to network with various sales contacts from Ritz-Carlton properties in the U.S. and around the world, in a classic SoCal backdrop of palm trees and luxury sail boats.
The event was very much about The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company showing its appreciation for top performing travel agencies and travel agents. During the awards ceremony and dinner, it was an emotional moment when the much-respected and much-loved Miriam Rand of Protravel of Beverly Hills received an award for Lifetime Achievement.
