Lori A. Ean of Valerie Wilson Travel was the grand prize winner at a luxurious event Royal Hideaway Playacar hosted for top New York travel agents last Thursday at the St. Regis. Ean, who is shown here with Jean Agarrista (managing director, Royal Hideaway Playacar), Cathy Rodriguez (director of marketing, Royal Hideaway Playacar) and top jazz pianist/composer, Eugenio Toussaint, won a week’s vacation for two at the Riviera Maya resort, including airfare.
Royal Hideaway, which hinted that it’s building five new resorts, used the evening to emphasize its dedication to the travel agency distribution channel. The special group assembled at the St. Regis had several “thank you” promotions bestowed upon them, including visits to Royal Hideaway and special booking bonuses. Those perks come on top of the special airfare rebates that it’s currently offering to clients.
