Walt Disney World Hotel Appoints New Director of Sales



The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel has a new director of sales. Jared McLachlan, a hospitality executive with nearly 20 years of experience, will assume leadership for group sales operations at the 2,265-room convention hotel located in the heart of the Walt Disney World Resort.

Prior to his position at The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel, McLachlan served as the director of operations for Riverwalk Jacksonville Development, where he managed all aspects of the mixed-use development project which included 697 hotel rooms, a free standing restaurant and a retail office complex.
McLachlan’s hospitality career also includes a 15-year tenure with the Hilton Hotels Corporation where he began his career and worked in several hotel operational departments, eventually working his way up to the position of director sales and marketing.
McLachlan is a graduate of the University of Central Florida and actively works with several charitable organizations including the Princeton House and the Children’s Cancer Cooperative.
