Princess Cruises has announced a new offer allowing families and friends to bring a third and fourth guest aboard Ocean Medallion Caribbean cruises on Regal Princess and Royal Princess ships.
For these ships sailing during November 2017 and April 2018, the cruise line is offering this special at a $99 price for third and fourth passengers.
There is room for up to four guests in all types of the cruise lines’ staterooms, with an interior, balcony and mini-suites – many with interconnecting options.
Along with this new deal, Princess is also offering new interactive games and family-friendly offerings. For travelers aboard Ocean Medallion Class Ships, there is the Tagalong Sprint, which pits guests’ digital companions in a fast and fun race across the ocean floor in a rhythm-based group game, as well as This or That, an engaging and lighthearted game for groups of all sizes that presents two opposing choices and makes players vote on which to choose. These choices range from “Pet a dinosaur or ride a shark?” to “Parasail or kayak?” and votes are displayed for all to see once chosen.
In conjunction with Discovery Consumer Products, the licensing arm of Discovery Communications, Princess has also recently launched Camp Discovery youth center. Camp Discovery offers destination-themed programming that focuses on the Caribbean and immerses kids in the culture, nature and customs of the region. Through this partnership, there are other varieties of programs and activities for children and teens sailing on Caribbean-bound Regal Princess and Royal Princess cruise ships.
With the cruise line’s Discovery at Sea program, kids and teens can hang out at The Treehouse, which offers a bright, whimsical forest and animal-themed center including captivating creatures and hands-on activities for those ages 3 to 7; The Lodge, which is inspired by the great outdoors and offers different sports activities and fun places for kids ages 8 through 12 to explore and lounge in; and The Beach House, which offers a contemporary surf-themed lounge with a place for teens ages 13 to 17 to hang out and socialize.
MythBusters science activities are also a part of new youth and teen center programming aboard these ships. These activities include hands-on challenges and feature show star Tory Belleci.
Aboard the ships are also concerts, sporting events and hit blockbuster films at Movies Under the Stars, a 300-square foot poolside movie theater, for families to enjoy.
