The Associated Press via News Republic reports that fourth quarter profits rose dramatically at Delta Air Lines, from 2 cents per share in Q4 2010 to 50 cents per share in Q4 2011.
Delta attributed the higher profits to their strategy of raising airfares during the holiday season and reducing flying to keep costs down.
