computer keyboardNEW YORK (June 18, 2015) ─ Questex Travel Group today announced it has partnered with Travel Link Daily Co. Ltd, a leading publisher and organizer of events in the travel and tourism industry in China, to introduce its Travel Agent University program to the Chinese market and offer its suppliers business development opportunities with the country’s fast-growing tourism market.

Composed of 38,500 certified members, Travel Agent University is the industry’s largest online travel agent education site, having graduated more specialists than any other education program. Travel professionals can choose their specialty, complete courses and earn rewards and exclusive deals, while earning accreditation.

Travel Link Daily, which is connected with travel sellers and agents via an e-newspaper and other media channels, reaches travel professionals in all sectors. John McMahon, Questex Travel Group executive vice president, said the partnership is a “win-win” because it will allow its North American suppliers to expand their reach in the key Chinese market, while providing valuable continuing education opportunities to travel agents in China.

“We are delighted to collaborate on this exciting endeavor with Travel Link Daily, one of the most influential and reliable media channels to reach the China outbound travel trade community,” he said. “Questex is invested in travel agent education and committed to delivering the industry accreditation today’s clients demand while offering our suppliers an invaluable opportunity to engage with one of the fastest-growing tourism markets in the world.”

Travel Link Daily will translate Travel Agent University courses so that Chinese travel agents can become specialists in Questex client products.

“We are proud to partner with Questex, one of the most experienced companies in the world focused on travel and lodging, to provide additional educational opportunities to China-based travel agents,” said Brenda He, managing director, Travel Link Daily. “China remains the largest outbound tourism market in the world. Several channels will be used to promote the educational program in China, including Travel Link Daily’s e-newsletter to over 70,000 subscribers and its website targeting travel industry professionals. In addition, the program will be included in listings on the China Travel Online Academy (CTOA) website, the only travel-trade e-learning platform in China, with 20,000 users.
