An Emirates plane arriving from India in Dubai caught fire after a hard landing, Reuters reports. 300 passengers and crew escaped.

A Dubai Airports spokesperson told Reuters that flight EK521, which was operated on a Boeing 777-300, from Thiruvananthapuram had been evacuated of everyone and that emergency services were managing the situation. All arrivals and departures at Dubai International Airport were suspended, but later resumed at 6:30 p.m. local time, with priority given to larger aircraft.

There were no fatalities as a result of the incident, Emirates Chairman Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed al-Maktoum told Reuters.
