Bring a Smile to a Kid in Need With the United Adventure Bear Program

With a $20 contribution or more to this year’s organization, Happy Hearts Fund, United Airlines will deliver a limited-edition GUND® teddy bear, "Ben Flyin," to children experiencing health struggles or economic hardship in communities the airline serves worldwide. The bear comes with comes with an exploration-ready vest and a passport full of adventure-inspiring activities.

United customers can get involved in three ways: 
1. Give a Bear,
    With a $20 donation, a child in need will receive a “Ben Flyin” adventure bear.
2. Give a bear, get a bear:
    Through a $40 contribution, a child will receive a bear and donators will receive their own adventure bear.
3. Make a 100% tax-deductible contribution:
    Donators are encouraged to give any amount in support of Happy Hearts Fund

To donate, customers should visit united.com/adventurebear through July 31. Throughout the fall, United employees and program partners will deliver the bears to children at hospitals, schools and other organizations spanning the globe.

All proceeds will benefit Happy Hearts Fund, a nonprofit founded by supermodel Petra Nemcova in 2005, dedicated to rebuilding schools and restoring hope and opportunity in the lives of children after natural disasters. United will receive Happy Heart Fund's 2014 Honored Partner Award for its work with the organization.
