Scenic Cruises has announced the promotion of Richard Hickey to serve as director of national accounts.
Adding to his current position as business sales director for the US Southeast Region, Hickey will now work with the large accounts and consortiums that promote and sell Scenic and its river cruises on a national scale as well as seek out new sales channels. He will be based out of Miami and can be reached by email at [email protected].
Hickey has been working in various positions for several major travel companies throughout his 27-year travel career. He began with Norwegian Cruise Lines and has been both involved with both inside and field sales efforts for Disney Cruise Line, Club Med and Oceania. He has also been manager of national accounts for MSC Cruises.
