AA Names VP and Sales Manager

American Airlines named Kurt Stache vice president and general sales manager for sales activities. Stache has been with American since 1995, most recently as president of AAdvantage marketing programs and previously in the carrier's international revenue management division, where he was responsible for pricing and yield management for international markets.

"Kurt brings a wealth of airline experience to our global sales organization," said Dan Garton, American's executive vice president of marketing, to whom Stache will report. "His background, business acumen and people skills these past 12 years at American made him the clear-cut choice for the job." Visit www.aa.com. (JM)
