Rhonda Bartnikowski, a 19-year veteran of the travel industry and an agent with AAA Tidewater Virginia, based in Williamsburg, VA, won four of AAA Travel's Superlative Awards, announced at AAA’s annual travel conference in Orlando, FL.
Bartnikowski's awards were presented for Highest Overall Sales Volume, Highest Revenue Produced, Highest Preferred Partner Cruise Sales and Highest Preferred Partner Tour Sales, AAA Travel says.
“Rhonda is our all-around top-performing agent this year, a result of remarkable sales levels but even more importantly, steadfast commitment to our members,” said Bill Sutherland, senior vice president, AAA Travel Services and Publishing.
Bartnikowski attributed her success to a focus on building a bond of trust with members, leading to repeat and referral business. She also said she relies on a wealth of product information and destination expertise, helping her provide members a comprehensive, high level of service.
AAA Travel’s Superlative Awards are based on agents’ leisure travel productivity and leisure group sales between July 1, 2013 and June 30, 2014.
Thousands of agents were eligible for the awards, and AAA clubs nominated 33 of their top achievers, AAA Travel said.
Among suppliers, Royal Caribbean International, Best Western International, Pleasant Holidays and Air by Pleasant were recognized as AAA Travel’s Partners of the Year for providing the best overall experience in their respective product categories, AAA Travel reports.
The AAA awards included 19 categories, covering 38 preferred travel suppliers in five categories: marketing, service, product, technology, and sales and training.
