Abu Dhabi Agency Joins TWIN

TRAVELSAVERS Worldwide Independent Network (TWIN) reports that it has deepened its presence in the Middle East with Salem Travel Agency, based in Abu Dhabi, joining TWIN.

Established in 1968, Salem Travel Agency is now rated as one of the leading travel agencies in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. The agency has a staff of more than 110 and has experienced record growth over the past four decades.

“We warmly welcome (Salem Travel) to our global organization as we move more deeply into key regions around the world," said Rick Mazza, president and CEO of TRAVELSAVERS and TWIN. "We are strategically expanding by partnering with travel agencies who have already established themselves as leaders in their respective markets."

“The alliance is crucial for our expansion into the international market and an opportunity for growth by networking, sharing expertise and databases," said Jimmy El Murr, general manager of Salem Travel Agency. "There is also the investment in IT that was made by TRAVELSAVERS that attracted us.”

TWIN is a global travel management company with travel agencies participating as licensees in an international network. TWIN helps agents find new accounts, service multi-national accounts locally, obtain foreign business from other members, take advantage of inbound business and coordinate joint RFPs.
