On AgentNation: Which GDS Do You Prefer?

Global distribution systems (GDS) provide the electronic infrastructure behind travel transactions, and are a valuable tool for all travel professionals. So when a member of AgentNation, Travel Agent's social community online for all kinds of travel agents, asked for help making a decision between two different suppliers, we wanted to help her as well as get some feedback from agents on what makes a difference in choosing their GDS platform.

At the discussion thread on AgentNation, Britannia asks:

I would be interested in agent's opinion about any advantages of working Apollo vs.Amadeus GDS please ? If you have any thoughts or experiences to share regarding converting from one to the other , those would be especially helpful.

Whether you have an answer for Britannia or not, we want to hear your feedback on what makes an ideal GDS platform and why you have selected the one you currently use.

What are its strengths? Have you switched providers in the past? If so, why?

We want to hear from you. Post a comment below. Write us at our Facebook page. Send a tweet to our Twitter page. Join the discussion thread at AgentNation. We'll share your thoughts with our readers.
