ALTOUR Names New CMO and CCO

Suzanne Aaronson has joined ALTOUR as chief marketing officer. She will focus on the high-end lifestyle space and high net worth and ultra-high net worth consumer, said ALTOUR founder Alexandre Chemla.  

"We are very pleased to have her on our team to help grow our consumer luxury business with the assistance of our marketing team headed by Louise Whitney,” said Chemla. 

Aaronson began her career at CBS New Media in 1997. She later launched What’s Worth It (www.whatsworthit.com) and Worth It e-Publishing to service clients such as American Express Centurion ICC, Sotheby’s and The Maybourne Hotel Group.

ALTOUR said it has purchased What’s Worth It with the intent to move further into the luxury consumer segments.

The company has also named Ron DiLeo executive vice president and chief commercial officer. 

DiLeo began his career at Rosenbluth International in 1978 and by the time the company was acquired by American Express 25 years later, he was Rosenbluth’s chief operating officer. He then spent three years based in London where he was EMEA senior vice president and general manager of American Express Business Travel. Most recently, DiLeo served as president of Partnership Travel Consulting, a niche firm specializing in travel sourcing and travel and entertainment consultancy to corporations. DiLeo was previously president of AirPlus International (North America) and was executive director of the global travel industry Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE). In the airline industry, DiLeo was part of the team that launched British Airways’ OpenSkies airline, where he served as chief commercial officer.
