Amadeus reports the North American launch of its new Amadeus Partner Network, a global program uniting independent travel technology vendors and service providers with Amadeus to enable the delivery of IT solutions to travel agencies worldwide. Travel agencies will be invited to visit the partner solutions directory in the coming weeks.
“Amadeus Partner Network is essentially a roadmap for our travel agency customers to find trusted technology providers who can serve their needs. It brings together the industry’s broadest choice of innovative, reliable, complementary solutions that are fully optimized to work with Amadeus, and focuses on delivering technologies to further improve an agency’s business efficiency and enhance their clients’ travel experience,” said Scott Gutz, President and CEO of Amadeus North America.
When Amadeus agencies are looking at technologies for their business, Amadeus Partner Network offers a catalog of options and opportunities that have been developed, tested and proven within the Amadeus environment.
Amadeus says the network will enable agencies to find technology solutions to help them address the challenges they are facing today, including increasing market differentiation, fostering customer loyalty and offering their clients better service throughout all phases of their travel.
By formally bringing together independent technology vendors for product and business collaboration, Amadeus Partner Network connects solution providers such as independent software vendors, integrators and consultants with Amadeus’ more than 90,000 travel agency points-of-sale worldwide.
Working in partnership with the world’s largest travel technology and distribution company, IT providers will have access to Amadeus’ technology expertise, development and marketing support to increase their global market exposure and reach and grow their business, Amadeus says.
Providers can choose from three levels of engagement: Partner, Select and Premier. Partner members use Amadeus programming interfaces and can promote their products and services directly to Amadeus travel agency customers. Select members commit to enhancing Amadeus’ offerings to travel agencies and pursue joint sales opportunities with the company. Premier members work in concert with Amadeus to deliver solutions that are highly integrated into Amadeus’ technology portfolio and are predominantly distributed directly by Amadeus.
All network partners become part of the Amadeus distribution ecosystem and enjoy significant benefits to support them at all stages of their solution’s development and marketing cycle, Amadeus says. A new, dedicated portal allows them to collaborate and network throughout the community, access all their member resources and promote their solution in the markets where they operate. To date, more than 25 IT providers have already joined the network.

Launched today in North America, Amadeus Partner Network is scheduled to roll out in the other regions later this year. Amadeus reports it is currently growing the network’s roster of IT providers; travel agencies will be invited to visit the partner solutions directory in the coming weeks and enjoy the new opportunities that Amadeus Partner Network will deliver.
