Amadeus Launches Six City Roadshow for Agents

On the road again! Amadeus has unveiled its new 2010 roadshow series for North American travel professionals.  The six-city tour kicks off February 25 to continue the industry dialogue with travel professionals while showcasing the latest in travel technology and services. A special feature of this year’s roadshows is the inclusion of special offers from Amadeus’ travel partners, such as Vacation.com and TravCom.

Amadeus “Need To Have 2010” events are scheduled for Boston (February 25), New York City (March 10), Washington D.C. (March 18), Toronto (March 23), Chicago (April 14) and Los Angeles (April 21).  This year’s roadshow focuses on the solutions and services travel professionals “need to have” now to improve their businesses and take their profitability to the next level.

“Our inaugural roadshow series, ‘Talk With Amadeus 2009,’ was a great success and attracted hundreds of travel professionals to Amadeus events from coast to coast. So again this year we want to hear from travel professionals about what they need to have, with an even bigger and better roadshow series,” said Tom Cates, CCO for Amadeus North America.

At each event, attendees will get a hands-on look at some of Amadeus’ latest travel technology solutions and services via presentations and an open floor trade show format.  Featured at the events will be the latest versions of the Amadeus Selling Platform, Amadeus Hosted Solutions, Amadeus Training Services, Amadeus Vacation Link and other Amadeus solutions and services.

“Need To Have 2010” also gives travel professionals an opportunity to interact with Amadeus senior executives, as well as network with other agency owners, managers and agents from across the travel industry.

Each roadshow event will run conveniently from 5-8 p.m. and will feature complimentary cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and prize drawings, including a chance to win a $1,000 gift card.

Amadeus “Need To Have 2010” events are free of charge and open to all travel professionals, but attendance is limited based on space availability.  For further details or to RSVP for an upcoming “Need To Have 2010” event, travel professionals should visit tinyurl.com/amadeusroadshow2010.
