Amadeus Names Pynn to New Post, Offers Webinar

Victor Pynn, a 20-year travel industry veteran and former chief operating officer at TRX, has joined the company as senior vice president of its multinational customer group serving the Americas region. Pynn will also host a free webinar for financial officers on February 26.

In this newly created position, Pynn will be responsible for sales and account management for Amadeus’ efforts related to travel agency IT; corporate travel; large and multinational travel agencies; and online travel agencies in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America.

The webinar will be held Thursday, February 26, at 10 a.m. EST. Pynn will be hosting the free webcast on CFO.com titled, “CFO Priorities for Travel Management” sponsored by Amadeus.  During the webcast, Pynn will explore critical issues for the efficient procurement and management of travel, and will include recent research findings by CFO Europe Research Services and Amadeus.

The webcast will advise financial teams on how to manage travel costs to ensure maximum impact to the bottom line with minimum impact to business performance and customer satisfaction. "Amadeus has a vision and a mission to listen to the evolving needs of our customers in the Americas and deliver on them in new and innovative ways,” said Ingram. “With his tremendous experience and expertise in travel technology sector, the addition of Vic to our leadership team will be a key asset in making this happen.”

Prior to joining TRX, Pynn held a variety of senior positions throughout his 15-year tenure at American Express in finance, human resources and operations departments.  His most recent position at American Express was vice president of network solutions for corporate travel.
