Amadeus reports it has joined the BlackBerry ISV (Independent Software Vendor) Alliance Program. Amadeus’ participation will allow both personal and business travelers to download all of the information they need related to their trip, straight onto their BlackBerry smartphone. The applications for the BlackBerry platform will be available and announced later this year.

"Thanks to our involvement in the BlackBerry Alliance Program, we are developing functionalities that will enhance the traveler’s experience with new levels of convenience and flexibility. We are excited to work with RIM and the BlackBerry solution to create a superior trip experience for the traveler.”
Last year, Amadeus and ACTE (Association of Corporate Travel Executives) published the study Upwardly Mobile concerning mobile technology and the corporate traveler.
