Ambassadors President Steps Down

David Giersdorf, president of Ambassadors International's cruise group, will resign December 31, the group announced Friday. Joe Ueberroth, Ambassadors' chairman and CEO, will assume the position of interim president, effective immediately. Diane Moore, vice president of sales and marketing, will pick up additional responsibility for reservations, guest services and customer relations. Ambassadors International operates Majestic America Line and acquired Windstar Cruises from Carnival Corp. earlier this year. (DE)
