America's Vacation Center Expands Host Program

America's Vacation Center-American Express has expanded its host agency program. "While our current program works great for hundreds of home-based agents, we needed to change to meet the needs of this rapidly expanding market," said Brad Anderson, co-president of America's Vacation Center. "If you're a professional travel agent, America's Vacation Center has a program for you." The Platinum Agency program is designed for home-based travel agents who sell a high volume of cruises and/or vacation packages. The Gold Agency program is designed for agents who sell fewer cruises and vacation packages. With the two programs, AVC says it now provides top-notch hosting for all professional travel agents. Both Gold Agency and Platinum Agency include access to AVC's training and support seven days a week. In addition, all home-based agents get access to AVC's Agent Power software suite. Agent Power includes integrated availability and booking access for every major cruise line, as well as advanced customer relationship management and commission tracking. Platinum Agency includes sales coaching and mentoring, as well as access to AVC's Live Leads, which are incoming customer requests sent directly to home-based agents via the phone and Internet.
