American Express and Revelex Form Partnership

American Express Consumer Travel Network and Revelex Corporation, a provider of marketing technology, have announced an agreement to jointly develop a technology platform for American Express' travel agency network. The new technology will allow American Express' travel agents to book travel faster and more efficiently across all servicing channels (call centers, travel service offices, home-based agents), helping to improve agent productivity, reporting and the user experience.

The agreement will leverage Revelex's proprietary travel application services and new technology from both partners. Revelex will work with American Express to develop a new, integrated consumer travel desktop, allowing American Express travel agents to book air, car, hotel and cruise travel in one application. American Express will pilot the technology platform in mid-2008 and plans to begin a travel agent rollout in early 2009.
