AMResorts Names New Vice President of Global Sales and Business Development

AMResorts has announced the creation of a new role to support the company’s rapid expansion. Claudio Zboznovits has been named Vice President of Global Sales and Business Development. AMResorts is known as a fast-growing provider of sales, marketing and brand management services to six individual and unique resort brands.

Zboznovits’ responsibilities include leading and executing AMResorts strategic sales plans within the U.S., Canada and international markets. In tandem with existing directors of the markets, Zboznovits will also establish and maintain relationships with executives and buyers, including tour operators and online travel agencies across all markets. He will report to Colette Baruth, Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management and Distribution.

Prior to his appointment at AMResorts, Zboznovits served as the Corporate Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of BlueBay Hotels & Resorts, where he was responsible for driving the company’s commercialization, growth and profitability strategies across key market segments. He’s also held vice presidential positions at Barcelo Hotels & Resorts as well as The Mark Travel Corporation.
